"All the staff were very helpful, especially Isabella for our dinners, always remembering our drinks! Very close to a beautiful beach. The bar staff are very talented making perfect drinks. The hotel has panoramic sea views, walking distance of shops. The grand tour by minute tours was an amazing day out. "
"I enjoyed a 5 night break at Sands. A little apprehensive due to several negative reviews however my experience was very positive. The rooms are a good size and have everything you need including full fridge freezer and dishwasher. The entire complex is very clean and is thoughtfully laid out. I enjoyed the lane swimming and the surrounding area is perfect for running. I also used the gym several times. Shops and restaurants are within a 5-10 minute walk. A shout out to all the staff, you are amazing.
Would I return - definitely "
"I have been staying at the Hotel LIVVO Volcán, Playa Blanca, Lanzarote, several times a year for over 20 years, as indeed have many of the hotel’s returning clients.
The hotel itself is beautiful and the cuisine at breakfast and dinner is outstanding with a vast array of options to suit every palate and all dietary requirements.
The staff are delightful - warm, welcoming, caring and most helpful - nothing is too much trouble. Many have been there for years, a testament to the hotel’s culture and environment.
It’s my ‘happy place’ and where I always say ‘my soul is at peace’ - indeed, I feel blessed to consider it my second home.
I have just returned from a wonderful relaxing holiday and I’ll be going back again in November. What more can I say? - I absolutely love it!
A huge thank you to all the staff for another memorable stay. See you again soon!

"The hotel was fabulous and we were able to sample the extra restaurants that the hotel has. The piano bar was tremendous with it’s entertainment and selection of drinks. "
"Really decent little hotel , highly recommend.. paid £55 for a Friday night and it's in a perfect position. We own 2 apartments in Puerto del Carmen and could not get into ours until Saturday but would deffo stay again as a night out in arrecife is brilliant. Lovely clean kitchen for a cuppa in the morning , plus free storage lockers if you need to leave your bags there for a bit . Yes it's a small room but who cares ."
