"We were very comfortable here. Small hotel with upgraded rooms and hallways. There is no restaurant but a small guest lounge offers 24 hour coffee. We were off season and found the room very quiet and peaceful. "

That said: With a partially-obstructed view, our room had a warped door, a wonky microwave, a cracked range, peeling wallpaper, and a rather long crack in our wall; it would also have been nice to have dishes and cutlery that were not from the ‘60s. Basically, the property is showing its age and needs an overhaul. "

"Awesome hotel! The biggest plus was the amazing coffee machine they had in the lobby! It was high tech. The hot tub was perfect after a long day of skiing! Great place, will be returning!"

"Beautiful view of the ocean. Saw sea otters, bald eagles, and I think even a seal or two. Clean comfortable beds. Very quiet. City bus that takes you to downtown Qualicum Beach if you don't have a car. Very kind and helpful staff."

"The staff were absolutely fantastic, I mentioned it was my 8 year old boys birthday and they all signed a card and gave it to him. It made him feel fantastic as the next day we were heading in for him to have surgery. Not only did they sign the card and deliver it to our room but they let all of the other staff know and they were all wishing him Happy Birthday. Lower priced accommodation but don’t be fooled by the price, great safe and comfortable place to stay!! Thank you!"
