"Had a lovely stay, the Rumi room was beautiful, the bath tub was gorgeous, very deep and extremely relaxing. Plenty of towels and great amenities, bed was really comfortable. The receptionist was lovely, very friendly and helpful. Parking was very easy, in a nice area. Will definitely visit again one day, if prices are right. Thank you"

"Property was spotlessly clean, warm & comfortable. Kitchen appeared well equipped although we only used the kettle! Would've preferred a manned reception on arrival although access instructions were clear & sent in advance of our stay. Literally across the road from The Mailbox & a Tesco Express so very well situated. Short walk to O2 and The Alexandra Theatre."

"The Burlington is unique in that it adjoins the Railway Station and also fronts New Street the main shopping street. Built by The Midland Railway and containing the original beautiful Architecture. The bedrooms are large, the breakfast excellent and the staff perfect. We organised an event here via Ella and we booked 6 bedrooms. The most convenient location in Birmingham. Absolutely recommended."

"Handy location and helpful staff. Only a few minutes walk into town and had parking (for a fee). Booked a deluxe double, but unsure what made it any different to a standard room. Was basic with a view of a small building's roof. Large brown stain on the duvet which we told reception about, who came to inspect. Was provided with a new duvet cover that we had to fit ourselves. Reception and entrace were lovely so expected a little more from the room itself, but did the job for one night which is...

"Stayed 2 nights at the Ibis mainly for proximity to New Street station but I was pleasantly surprised by the clean feel from reception to room. Welcoming staff on arrival and at breakfast. Room v small but had all I needed, including bedside shelf and wardrobe space, which so many city hotels don't. Breakfast fine and loads of eateries within 5-minute walk."

"Everything first class, but what stood out was the staff. We stayed 2 nights during the Cheltenham festival. The 2 who stood out though were Elle, and Bella. Not only were they very efficient and professional, they had a great rapport with the guests. There was a vulnerable lady, who was going to hospital the next day. She was obviously a little concerned, and alone. They both made sure she had everything she needed in the restaurant, and Bella made sure to spend quiet moments talking to her....
