I stayed here very comfortably for two nights. It is a bit further from the main touristy part of Sanur, but a 5 minute walk from the closest beach (with a walkway that connects to other beaches) and a quick Grab ride to the busier parts if that’s your scene. Room was clean, staff was accommodating, and the pool area was unique with a volleyball net and basketball hoop - nice touches. Would stay here again!

If you're going to stay in this area of Bali, this is the place to stay. To be honest, I don't know if it is truly a "5 star" resort as it doesn't come close to the Ritz Carlton-level, but it is a really nice place. I can't recommend the Puri Santrian enough. This hotel was the main ingredient for the mostly relaxing vacation I've ever had. The check-in was flawless. My room was exceptional. Housekeeping was excellent. The staff was always there when you needed them but were not overly intrusive. The whole experience was geared to your comfort and convenience. We made a last minute booking for this hotel at Denpasar Airport just after we arrived and the room was ready by the time we got there. The reception had a tasty drink waiting and checked us in quickly without problem. Our room was right on the street but the super thick double layer of sliding doors made the noise from the partying and the traffic disappear. The pool was beautiful and nice. I read on Trip Advisor to try and book an upstairs unit so I typed it into the "requests" part of our booking, but we received a downstairs unit.
