"Good hotel, it will be better once the reception work is complete. "

"Paid for a standard double room but got a compact room. Window wouldn’t open so room was too warm. Paid for late checkout however this was not acknowledged so we were locked out of room. "

"I booked for my son and wife for their wedding night. The Hotel was extremely helpful, allowing them to store an overnight bag prior to the wedding. They added 'Honeymoon' touches to the room, I requested a room with a view even though it was a city centre hotel. It overlooked the Peace Gardens which was really nice. Hotel kept in contact prior to the stay with information re parking etc. which is available with a charge. Good breakfast available if required. All in all everything was just perfect for them."

"The only problem was the car park is too small, wasn't aware when I booked that we would have to pay nearly £9:00 per night. The hotel itself was very good, clean, well kept with helpful staff. The breakfeast was simply and plentyful."

"Good hotel, beds a bit creaky for the top bunk, but clean room and comfy beds. Shower being in the room and not in a separate bathroom is a bit inconvenient if travelling with friends (especially the hole in the shower door instead of a handle)."
