Very friendly staff and a comfortable basic room.
Didn’t use the bar/restaurant or have breakfast on this occasion but they were excellent on my stay last year.

"Comfortable stay in a friendly hotel. Bed comfortable, plumbing worked fine and breakfast delicious if slightly long in arriving. Would definitely stay again. Lovely area to visit too. "

"Absolutely wonderful stay! The apartment we stayed in was immaculately clean, really well presented with a well equipped kitchen. Bathroom was spotless, the shower was brilliant! Convenient parking opposite and located in the centre. Great place to visit, with lovely shops, bars, cafes and restaurants round the corner! We would recommend to anyone looking to visit Ulverston. "

"Breakfast was very good and there was lots of choice. We ate at The Wheatsheaf on the second evening; the place was full and the service prompt.
It wouldn't be a good place to stay if you're not good on stairs as the accommodation is on the second floor, but staff took our cases up for us and a fellow customer carried them down, so we were very grateful.
The room was clean and spacious and the carpark was just across the road so it was a very nice stay. "

"A gem of a place. Tucked away just outside Bowness this hotel is beautiful. Check in was very quick and efficient. We were early but our room was ready which was a real bonus.
We had a family room which was spacious with all the amenities you would expect and don’t always get.
We were at a family get together so didn’t dine at the restaurant in the evening. We had breakfast which was absolutely delicious and kept us going for the rest of the day!
