"Very comfortable room, I slept extremely well. I was overlooking the main road so I imagine it would be quite noisy on a weekend but was perfect on a weekday. Plenty space and very comfortable bed and bedding. Not particularly modern but wasn't expecting that in a building this old!"

"Easy check in with pleasant staff. Room was clean, tidy and spacious. This is a pretty new building by the look of it! Room was nice and warm (especially nice as it was a very cold day). Bed was comfortable with clean and high quality linen. Bathroom super clean with plenty of hot, high pressure water in the shower. Ate in the pub part for evening meal and breakfast next day. Food was excellent and decent value for money. Service was good and timely at all times, food was fresh and tasty. Would definitely consider this place to stay again."

"Staff very helpful and courteous. Property very clean.Good facilities and everything in rooms needed for stay.eg hairdryer iron and ironing board tea and coffee making facilities. "Everything was great. The check in was hassle free, the staff were very polite and professional and the room, perfectly clean. I did have an issue with the heater not keeping the room warm, when I arrived, but the 2 staff who dealt with it, went out of their way to solve the issue. The Hotel is very conveniently situated and there is ample parking and no potholes, unlike a similar Hotel nearby. The buffet breakfast is plentiful, varied and delicious. I've used this Hotel on a number of occasions and because of the experience, I feel that it's well worth paying a little extra."
