"Stayed at Posada del León de Oro for two nights and it was lovely. They front desk folks were lovely and helpful and held out bags because we arrived early. Our room was bigger than I expected and very modern in contrast to the building and neighborhood. The room has AC and an amazing shower. "The location is super nice, few minutes from every thing including SOL station. Easy to get Atocha or Moncloa station. Staff at the desk all speak very clear English, very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. There is terrace on 4th floor, we could smoke."

"Location is perfect as it is close to the Atocha train station. Seina Sofia and Prado museums as well as the Retiro park. Some people may prefer to live close to the very busy area (gran via). The place is very well maintained. I would like to stay here again if I ever visit Madrid again. Breakfast is really good, not super fancy but offer many options and good quality. It is great to have a big breakfast before starting walking for almost a whole day."

"In a neighbourhood with good food, close to Mercadona, essily walking distance to 2 metro stations. 2 stops away from Sol station. Laundry can only be done between 9am to 9pm, and is shared between 6 units. There are lockers for luggage if you arrive earlier."
