"I recently stayed at Motel One Spittlemarkt over New Years. My room was very clean and comfortable. I was a 2 minute walk from U-Bahn Line 2 which made getting around the city easy. The hotel is also within easy walking distance of all the major sites in central Berlin. As a solo, mature female traveler, I felt very safe and comfortable in this part of Berlin. Enjoy and safe travels!"

"Staff was really helpful, the hotel looks a little outdated and some facilities look old. Area is very quiet and walkable, but is not that close to some main places. Good thing is that there is a U-Bahn station right in front to move quickly. "

"Located in a good area of Berlin. Easy access from nearby U Bahn at Stadtmitte to all parts of the city. Walkable to Checkpoint Charlie, Unter den Linden, Brandenburg Gate, Reichstag. Good restaurants nearby on Charlottenstrasse. We had self catering studio and shopped at nearby Lidl (5 minutes walk)Helpful staff who spoke good English. Would stay again if returning to Berlin"
