"This is the perfect lodging for your stay in Ischia. It's a short drive from the Ischia marina, where the ferry drops you off, but the public bus (less than 3€ a ride) is right outside of the hotel to get you back to the Ischia Marina where there are countless bars and restaurants, as well as the main shopping on the island, or to Fario where you unlock another world of the island. So convenient! The hotel staff themselves are so accommodating, as well. The staff during our stay didn't speak...

The restaurant at the hotel is great and they have a wonderful spa including thermal pools and you can request massage the massage person is fabulous and the prices are great highly recommend this hotel"

"Hotel in cui tornerei sicuramente per un altro soggiorno a Ischia. Raggiungibile a piedi dal porto in 15 minuti, lontano dal macello della via principale, fronte spiaggia (piú o meno a 5 metri di distanza da stabilimenti e spiaggia libera). Colazione ottima con scelta al buffet ma servizio al tavolo. Unica piccola pecca per qualcuno che dovesse essere particolarmente pretenzioso, camera piccolina e non tanto insonorizzata. "Front desk reception Adolfo (may have spelling wrong) was kind, knowledgeable, and able to speak English. Our room was clean, terrace was a wonderful bonus, and quiet during the night. We had the breakfast buffet which was great. Close to the ferry, bus, and plenty of shops. We enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend. "

"We began our stay in Ischia recuperating from the trip at Samiramis. We moved Albergo Macri as a home base for day trips around Ischia and to Naples, Pozzuoli and the Amalfi Coast. We were very conveniently located to take ferries and buses for those day trips. There is an excellent restaurant just down the block, and many more around the port and further into Ischia Porto. The owners were very hospitable. Excellent value. "

"Older hotel situated in carefully tended gardens with spectacular views of the sea. Bathrooms are small but clean. The restaurant is open for breakfast buffet and dinner and the food and staff were great. Lots of local seafood. Excellent wine list with many Ischia wines. Situated out of Ischia Porto town so a car is advisable if you want to explore the island. Front desk arranged a taxi tour of the island with Filippo who speaks some English and he showed us much of the beauty of this special...

"The hotel and the staff were nothing short of exceptional. My sister and a friend and I had a great girls get away. Our rooms were outstanding. The breakfast was amazing. The beds were exceptionally comfortable. We greatly appreciated the hotel staff assisting with transportation arrangement from the airport all the way to the front door of the hotel. There was a short walk to the closest port for dinner and everything else was a short cab or bus ride away. I look forward to visiting Ischia...

"Hotel a conduzione familiare a pochi passi dal mare, dalla fermata degli autobus (molto efficienti sull’Isola) e da due centri termali molto rinomati (per i quali la struttura fornisce sconti). Accolti da un ragazzo molto cordiale che ci ha illustrato la zona e la struttura (priva di ascensore), accompagnandoci fino in camera. La camera che avevamo scelto con vista mare si presenta luminosa e ampia, con arredi non nuovissimi e con bagno finestrato. La vera chicca della camera è l’ampio terrazzo...
