"It’s a mid-value property, sidewalks are lit and I suppose it’s relatively easy to get to. Infrequent busses but it’s less than 20 minutes to the A train if you don’t dilly dally. Linden Blvd is pretty loud but at least you don’t have one way access streets so it’s fairly safe."

"I'm a local. Stayed over night for a day at the casino. Room was comfortable and spacious. Casino under renovation but there were plenty of slots to play..but payouts where tight. The racetrack outside is a plus. And the Sugar Factory is always a highlight. Love the drinks. Overall nice excursion."

"We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel 42 - great location steps from the subway. The neighborhood was very clean and walkable. We enjoyed some neighborhood restaurants. I always felt safe and it was very clean everywhere in the nearby neighborhoods. Our rooms were also very clean and we enjoyed some cocktails in the evenings in the cellar bar. "This is Maspeth's hidden gem right off the highway. If you're looking for public transportation this is not the spot for you however if you're traveling by car they have a decent sized parking lot, with electric charge on site, and a gas station feet away which is SUPER rare in the city.
