"Only place I'd stay near La Fortuna. The suites are wonderful, everyone is courteous and helpful, and the food is spectacular. Stayed six nights because there's so much to do near La Fortuna and the resort is the perfect place to be. "

"The stay at amor arenal was amazing and worth every penny to me and my wife. We enjoyed the service as they were ready to help a phone call away especially when it came to spotting wildlife like sloths or toucans. The breakfast here was amazing as well and we enjoyed the open scenery to the rainforest while eating. The rooms were open and free with an abundance of privacy which made it perfect with the scenes of the rainforest and on clear days you can see the amazing volcano. "

"Baldi is an amazing and one of a kind hotel! The new rooms in the back of the hot springs are huge and beautiful. There’s no other place in the world like their multi-level volcanic hot springs. They are a must see while in Arenal. The spa is incredible as well! "

"The location was great- in between the Fortuna waterfall and Mistico park, with the town with restaurants/shops close by as well. We had plenty on room for our family of 4. There was a nice outdoor patio from which we saw a toucan eating berries in the tree. Alvaro and Carlos were very nice and helpful as well. I would definitely recommend the villas las Palmas. "

"Overall the hotel was well maintained, clean and easy access to everything. Had a good simple breakfast, and the lunch was good as well. Had planned on doing laundry, but was free so my friend took advantage of it during out trip. Best hotel we stayed at in all of Costa Rica."

"The rooms are a little out dated with some in better condition than others. It was adequate for the 3 nights. Location was wonderful. We had a superb view but there was no hot water for our showers. Room was always cleaned well. "

"Great hotel, comfortable rooms, fabulous pool complex, easy parking, on site food options. Multiple pools including varying degrees of hot springs, and natural pools, swim up bar, etc. Ideal location for activities including coffee/chocolate tours, hanging bridges, La Fortuna waterfall, tubing, etc. La Fortuna is 10 minutes away in an Uber which is cheap and efficient and has lots of bars and restaurants. Loved this hotel and the area"
