Compared to other accomodation in neighbourhood it was value for money. Toronto is very expensive for accomodation."

"May not be the newest hotel but very clean. We arrived very early due to our flight time but were able to check in at 9:30am which was amazing! Staff are super friendly. The location is perfect and easy to get to local attractions (aquarium, Scotiabank Centre). I would definitely stay here again!"

"We always stay at the Royal York when in Toronto. The rooms and staff are always perfect and in the winter we always have great options for room service dining....although we did miss seeing the fish and chips on the menu this past visit. A stopover at the York is always a great finishing touch to our travels. Next visit will be this April for a game at Scotiabank Arena, can't wait!"

"Beautiful hotel! We always make a point to stay at this hotel when we are in Toronto. The room was very clean, the gym has a ton of equipment, the breakfast is great, and on-site parking is a huge plus."

"Check in - amazing - the staff were so helpful - wish I had got their names as such a great experience and so friendly when passing. Room was great with big comfy bed, good view (could see CN Tower from our room on 4th floor) and good wifi. Location - perfect, short walk to St Lawrence Market, Hockey Hall of Fame, Eaton Centre. Lots of bars, resturants, etc near by. Breakfast - which was included had plenty of choice and lots of seating areas. There was tea and coffee available all day...

"it was nice n cool when we got in , it was in a good area chinatown is really cute and easy ish access to the subway it wasn’t terrible to walk and it was quite clean and redone so it was quite modern n pretty it was a really nice little hotel"

"There is no human contact. You get a code.. you go to door beside an A&W. You go up some stairs and enter the room with a second code. Its very basic, but given the price in downtown Toronto, it was a good place to crash. Clean and tidy. If you know the neighbourhood, you hear the locals all night and there are some pretty colourful characters on the street. Room was small, so one person fine, two people.. probably cramped. Not sure I would feel extremely safe if I was a single young lady. "
