Stamford is only a short drive away. We spent the day there as first time visitors and were blown away, what a great place! Stunningly beautiful, very well kept and clean, and lots of independent shops. Definitely a place to explore.

Stamford is such a beautiful town and has a lovely atmosphere. We stayed on a Thursday night and were lucky enough to stroll through the market on Friday morning which was brilliant.

It's a lovely but busy town. Traffic was busy and slow all day long it seemed to me. Great location around the river. Fabulous old buildings.

"Our Room 202 although Basic with a backyard view was ultra clean and did what its meant to do. The bar however was absolutely amazing, and a pleasure to sit and relax ..... Has to be the nicest hotel in Peterborough "
"I love this place. I was surprised that a tap in the bath was leaky, and therefore running all the time. Otherwise flawless, friendly and really lovely "
