"Very nicely welcomed, stayed in room 101, a small suite in the heritage building and everything at 5 star level. Food and drinks was good and serving far above normal Indian level. Only small complaint is that every time we got into our room in the afternoon to take a shower -just after having taking off the clothes off - someone rang the doorbell and asked if we were nereding anything. Chreck-out again smoothly and professionel. Definitely a place we will like to stay next time in Kolkota. "

"The hotel was wonderful. I was a solo traveler and felt very safe here. The concierge Amit seemed to be looking out for me. He was very helpful in everyway. I was able to walk to India Museum from this hotel as well as Saint John's Church for the Black hole of Kolkata memorial. The breakfast in the morning was very nice, although the staff did seem to have a hard time keeping everything fully stocked. I would definitely stay again."

"While convenient for access to the city, the immediate area is not particularly pleasant. However, the hotel, while it provides all that is needed, is a little 'tired' as to its decor. But, the in-house 'pure veg' restaurant and bar is excellent, providing breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are charming, friendly and efficient. It may not be 5* but gets an A from me. "

"Stayed 9 nights there in February 2026. The 3* hotel is good value for money and provided very comfortable beds in large rooms with fans and air conditioning. The bathrooms are typically Indian but fully functional. The breakfast provided in Pepper Chino restaurant is superb, with a wide range of options including tea/coffee/juice, fruit, toast, Indian dishes and omelettes, and the Cloud Tavern on the top floor is an ideal place to have an evening meal and a beer or wine. "For the price I was not expecting much. I just need aircon, and a comfy bed. I was very pleasantly surprised with this hotel. The food in the restaurant was good, the service friendly.
