"We liked the hotel for it's cost, location to shopping and restaurants, and the train station that allowed us to explore Hamburg. The staff was friendly and helpful and we were thankful to secure a late checkout(cost) since we were boarding our cruise in the late afternoon on a Sunday. We stayed for 2 nights. The room had a mini refrigerator and a work area. The room was very spacious and clean. "

"Nikolai is an excellent hotel in a marvelous location. The staff is courteous and did everything to make us feel at home. The Superior room with the bath tub fits 2 people :-) and is very nice for a warm relaxing bath with a person close to you. I warmly recommend Nikolai."
