"This is a very beautiful hotel. The rooms are nice and the staff is very helpful. We had a room on the 7th floor and the views were awesome especially at night. They have shuttles to the Yuanshan Metro. The breakfast buffet is delicious. They even shuttle you to the pool but you can easily walk there in 5 minutes. We highly recommend this hotel."

"We chose the Greatt Hotel for its location - 1 block from the Shilin Night Market (one of the best in Asia) and close to the Shilin train station - straight shot to CKS Memorial and convenient 15-minute bus to National Palace Museum. It is a bit spartan, but the rooms are clean and the bathroom was great. Reception was very nice and useful but did not speak English - the use of Google Translate solved all problems. I definitely recommend this hotel."

The room was equipped with the drinking water, tea/instant coffee, bathroom essentials and disposable slippers. My suggestion for improvement was about the floor carpet of which was old and stained. "This is an amazing hotel - room was great, clean and functional. Loved the small touches - free water, coffee, robes, etc). The washer/dryer was awesome (although it took quite a while to dry the clothes). Location was amazing - MRT across the street and views of the Grand Hotel within walking distance. There is a pool and gym but I did not use them. I would stay here again on my next trip."
