"Steve and Jeanette were the perfect hosts, even loaning me walking sticks to climb Ir Wyddfa (Mt Snowdon). I was there as a solo traveler and appreciated the very safe and welcoming environment. Everything was perfect: spotless, comfortable room, great shower, delicious Welsh breakfast, easy walk to town, available books and maps, teapot and biscuits in the room, and great WIFI. Heartily recommend!!"

"Clean cosy room with a great shower. Fantastic view of Moel Siabod, weather permiting! Staff were friendly and helpfull and the breakfast was lovely. Good selection of food on offer , watch out for great value specials, the curry was great. Free parking for residents/customers. We will be back."

"We stayed in room no.1(small cosy room)the room was small had a nice comfy bed nice ensiute spotless clean, Dave was very helpful at breakfast with ideas of were to visit, the breakfast was lovely with plenty of choice. This guest house is in a superb location right in the centre of betws-y-coed, car park at the rear was a bit small but okay. If we visit this area again i wouldn't hesitate to stay again. "

"Had a really pleasant stay at Gwydyr Hotel. The hotel is charming, well-maintained, and very comfortable, with spotless rooms and a cosy atmosphere. Service was warm and attentive, and breakfast was delicious. Just a small note that there’s no lift, but staff were helpful and everything else more than made up for it. "The house was very well appointed, modern, warm, with its own off street parking space, and perfectly situated very close to Betws-y-Coed but sufficiently distanced from it to escape the tourist traffic and crowds. It is situated in a small village in complete silence. Very peaceful."
