Top neighborhoods in Quezon City

Diliman
Diliman's sprawling university grounds give you a much-needed breather from Manila's urban intensity. The tree-lined Academic Oval and expansive Sunken Garden offer peaceful spots for strolls among Filipino students. Art lovers can explore the Vargas Museum's contemporary works while culture enthusiasts catch performances at UP Theater. Quezon Memorial Circle and Ninoy Aquino Parks provide green escapes when you need to recharge. Getting around is simple with two metro stations—Quezon Avenue and GMA-Kamuning—connecting you to the city. Student-friendly eateries serve affordable Filipino comfort food, with nearby Maginhawa Street offering trendy cafes. Budget hostels and mid-range accommodations cater mostly to visiting academics and families exploring campus attractions.

Cubao
Cubao buzzes with energy as Metro Manila's premier shopping and entertainment district. Dive into retail therapy at Gateway Mall and Farmers Plaza, or catch a basketball game at the iconic Smart Araneta Coliseum. Culture seekers can explore Art In Island or catch performances at New Frontier Theater, while foodies sample authentic Filipino street eats alongside mall dining options. Getting around is a breeze with both MRT and LRT stations connecting you to the entire city. Accommodations tend toward budget-friendly hotels catering to transit passengers. The neighborhood thrives day and night with shoppers, commuters, and entertainment-seekers making this vibrant transit hub pulse with local flavor.

Eastwood
Eastwood City buzzes with the energy of Manila's corporate elite and after-work revelers. The gleaming office towers and upscale condos create a sleek urban island where professionals work hard and play harder. Shoppers flock to Eastwood Mall for retail therapy while the Central Plaza hosts concerts and events that keep the vibe lively well into the evening. Food lovers can travel the world without leaving the neighborhood, from Korean barbecue to Japanese sushi bars. Getting around is simple with abundant ride-sharing options and good connections to major city routes. Most visitors stay in business hotels or serviced apartments that cater to corporate travelers.

South Triangle
South Triangle buzzes with the energy of Manila's entertainment industry. ABS-CBN Broadcasting Network towers over this media hub where restaurants and nightlife spots cater to both TV personalities and curious visitors. Triangle Park's business district adds a sleek, corporate vibe to the neighborhood with its modern glass buildings and manicured grounds. Getting around couldn't be easier with two MRT stations—Quezon Avenue and GMA-Kamuning—connecting you to the rest of the city. Upscale hotels and serviced apartments cater to business travelers, while Tomas Morato Avenue offers plenty of trendy dining options that stay open late to match the entertainment industry's schedule.
Novaliches
Novaliches offers an authentic slice of suburban Filipino life with affordable markets and friendly neighborhoods. Explore local public markets where fresh produce and street food create a lively atmosphere. SM City Fairview anchors the shopping scene while small parks and basketball courts showcase community spirit. Getting around is easy with jeepneys and tricycles connecting every corner. Budget-conscious travelers will appreciate the affordable guesthouses and family-run eateries serving Filipino comfort food. While lacking tourist attractions, Novaliches rewards visitors with genuine local experiences away from Manila's hustle.

Learn more about Quezon City
Beneath the shadow of Quezon Memorial Circle's three-winged monument, a city of contrasts unfolds. Foodies flock to Maginhawa Street, where food parks serve everything from crispy pork sisig to artisanal ice cream. Art in Island museum invites visitors to become part of the paintings – possibly the most photographable attraction in the metropolis. UP Diliman campus offers both cultural immersion and green spaces where students debate philosophy under ancient acacia trees. For retail therapy, SM North EDSA and TriNoma malls stand like twin commercial fortresses. The city's entertainment industry earns its 'City of Stars' nickname, with TV studios where lucky visitors might spot Filipino celebrities between takes.

Ibis Styles Manila Araneta City
"Was my second time staying here. Rooms clean. Location good. Housekeeping and security staff consistently helpful and polite. Wish I was offered the option to check in early even with a fee so I could’ve rested sooner after a 14 hour flight. Breakfast buffet good as well. The only thing I didn’t like is the warmth and humidity in the hallways, elevator and even the mall."
Eastwood Richmonde Hotel Quezon City
"Overall the experience was good primarily due to the helpful staff. I did have issue with the wifi in the first room I was assigned. Staff moved me to another room with a better connection. The gym AC was not working well so getting a good workout in was next to impossible."
Luxent Hotel
"Everything is good , but if the stay is longer than a week, are there no discounts?"

Hop Inn Hotel North EDSA Quezon City
"Close to shopping and transportation. Basic room with TV and wifi. Clean room but minimal - no microwave, fridge or phone. It works for me. To get to Trinoma mall go up to the MRT terminal, cross the road (EDSA), go upstairs again for MRT and mall access."
