Last hurrah before Sofitel closes. Do not know whether temporarily or permanently. One of the last icons of Old Manila. Too bad the reclamation of Manila Bay has severely affected the view. Instead of a beautiful sunset, barges and sand mountains.

The area could do with cleaning up the rubbish on the walk from hotel to MOA the paths were littered with rubbish and really bad smell of urine. This is not a good impression of the area for tourists and even visiting citizens.
