I will not go back

Very sadly this hotel did not live up to its previous reviews. It was dirty ,in poor condition..The bathroom door was coming of its hinges,dirty laundry left in heaps on the floor.Empty rooms left open,a security risk to all. Leaky kettles,broken lights.I shall not continue and will not go back Beware!

Absolutely disgusted with hotel.

Do not stay through this company. I have paid for a two night work business trip and arrived after a long commute. The booking was confirmed and money had been paid, haven’t had a refund or an explanation from the company or hotels.com yet. Left absolutely devastated with not being let in and not having any help or response and not being letting into a hotel I have paid for and commuted to. Disgusted with the service from this hotel an nhs young lady travelling for work and didn’t get any help at all.

Does what it says in the tin 👍

This hotel is nice wouldn’t take the family on holiday but working away it’s cheap and cheerful staff are lovely.... rooms are warm, may leak a little when it rains hard, sure maintenance man is busy definitely worth it though have been back a few times.

Our time at Kingsley

It was nice staying at Kingsley hotel, staff where wonderful, a bit noisy at times and the rooms felt a bit dated, old school but overall was a good stay.

Cheap basic accommodation. Light breakfast meant to be included however when we went down staff mentioned that this was not available. Rooms only cleaned after three nights. Longe area closed for the three nights.

The staff were friendly but had very little bother for the job. Breakfast was only served from 9-11 so we couldn’t even try as we had to be away before 9 everyday. The drawers in the room had stains and the walls need repainting. However, it was an ok stay for a room I was hardly using.

Hotel on a whole very good but lacking the basic in housekeeping need to get replace the card board mugs and replace with cups or mugs then check the next morning if room needs tidying and replace tea and coffee.

Oh no OYO - Never again!!

We stayed at this hotel for three nights.These are our gripes: 1. On checking in no information offered about parking charges, breakfast times and venue for breakfast. We had to ask for this info. 2. On arrival in hotel room only one bath towel available for two guests. Had to ask several times for a second bath towel to be provided. We were disgusted with the cleanliness of the room.(Please see attached pics).Radiator and wall above it had tea / coffee stains on it. Bathroom radiator was very dusty and rusty. Corner of shower tray and grout between tiles had black discolourisation. 3. It appeared that cleaning staff were not trained appropriately. On a positive note, the bed was comfy (albeit the pillows were flat), the bedding was clean and staff were friendly. Staff serving breakfast were prompt and friendly. Has potential to be a great hotel if the above was rectified. The hotel room certainly wasn’t worth the price we paid. Would give this hotel a miss in future.

I have only good things to say about this hotel. We arrived very early about 930. Within 15 mins our room was ready to check into. It is very clean . Nice new carpet and tea coffee. Always a bonus. The staff are lovely and it’s in a great location. Thanks for the stay . And amazing price as the air show is on. But you do have to pay 10 pound parking every 24 hours

Bad start

Unfortunately when checking in after a long journey, had an issue with my booking. The man saying I had only booked for myself and not my daughter, and giving me a room I didnt book. Was not the nicest about sorting out the mistake, which was not my fault. This put me off straight away. Luckily, did not see him again. Other than that, location was really good.

Good vslue and comfortable

Good value overall and comfy beds, decent large shower. Cleaning could be better, i.e corridor fir extinguishers thick with dust, window ledges and blinds in room thick with dust and cobwebs, however beds were clean and comfy. Went into breakfast and were shown to a table and immediately offeted full English breakfast to which we both said yes then afterwards we were told to pay £7.50 each as only continental was included! We were clearly notbthe only ones to be tricjed inti this as others at sane tine were quedtioning this after the fact only to be told same that continental only included and this option was beans on toast ....... beans on toast ‘continental’ ?! Hmm. A shame as this clearly wasn’t a one off and we felt conned. The rest of the stay i.e riom size and comfort and roomevtea & coffee and ensuite were good value

Hotel has been taken over by OYO, bad move in my opinion. Room was tiny, bathroom in a wardrobe no housekeeping. Breakfast and parking not included. Overall a hotel that we would not use again or recommend.
