The staff is wonderful, but we didn’t have hot water to shower, no lunch or dinner buffet. No bingo, no swim up bar, no kid buffet. It was a slow week but we were expecting what was advertised. This was our first time staying there and we would definitely stay there again. Certainly need some upkeeping with the pools. Would be nice if you could get some of the humidity out of the actual rooms but the air conditioning is set to not go lower than a certain point. The staff was all amazing. We have stayed at Cozumeleno every year since 2012. All of the employees are friendly, accommodating, smiling, and good at their jobs! We love the food, maid service , front desk helpers, Bellman service, gardens, towel service' etc. Our only complaints are the building is old and needs to improve the plumbing and air conditioning.

If you don’t expect much you will be fine. They do not put refrigerators in the rooms. You can not order room service unless you go to the front desk. The room temperatures are between 24-26. Our room stayed at 26. We tried to switch rooms the front desk said they would ask management. We tried for three days and gave up. The staff was very friendly!
