I stayed at Wilde Aparthotel in Edinburgh and honestly? It felt less like a hotel stay and more like I’d temporarily moved into my dream apartment. The place was spotless, stylish, and full of clever little design details that made me want to take notes for my future home.
One of the absolute highlights was the fully equipped kitchen. Not just a sad little microwave and a spoon – a real kitchen. I could actually cook proper meals, which is a rare and underrated luxury when travelling. Plus, it means you can have breakfast in your pyjamas without judgement. Win-win.
The staff were lovely and welcoming, and everything just worked – from check-in to checkout. The location was ideal too: central enough to walk everywhere, but still peaceful enough to get a good night’s sleep (which I absolutely did – that bed was dangerously comfortable).
Would I stay here again? In a heartbeat. Would I move in permanently if they let me? Also yes.
Highly recommend – especially for those who appreciate a bit of style, a lot of comfort, and the option to cook pasta at 10pm in your pj.
