Not as advertised

The bed was a double not a queen bed like advertised. The bed was uncomfortable and the sheets had holes in them. The room did not have a/c like advertised. There was dirt and sand on the floor.

KEEP DRIVING!

We did a late book and check in due to realizing the long drive back toward Seattle. No one at desk. Rang bell, guy came running. Was almost rude, pretty late checking in, he said. I said well late booking. Sorry to have bothered you and sent us on way. Room was oddly set up and no extra comfort level in this room. During the night, the door had light all around it that lit up the whole room. Smelled dirty and like stall cigarettes. House keeping started beating on door almost 90 mins before check out. And not to mention if you arent first to breakfast, dont bother.

Holes in bathroom doors, beds were very uncomfortable, rooms could be cleaner, freezer was fully iced, front desk paper work was all messed up. It was very loud. The pool and hot tub wasnt very clean.

Overall, the stay was average. The location was convenient and the staff was friendly and helpful. The room was generally fine, and the amenities were what we expected. However, the cleanliness could have been better. The floor was bit dusty and could have used a more thorough cleaning. While it wasn't a major issue, it was noticeable. The stay was a decent value for the price.

Days Inn used to be a respectable hotel chain and maybe others are. I would rate this one the same as a motel 6. The bed was an absolutely terrible, worn out spring matress. This would be a mediocre stay for about $99 per night. The best thing it had going for it, is that Galloway Bay Irish Pub was within walking distance. Thanks for that.

We were NOT greeted at all when we came to check in. Another guest was disputing a charge on his bill when we walked in. The owner I believe was the one helping us. He never acknowledged us, made eye contacted, just says "name" as he is standing behind the other staff memeber. I then state "Oh your talking to me" we didnt even realize he was talking to us at first. He drops a paper & door keys on the counter and says fill this out. He never asked for ID. Handed them back the paper and he never said anything to us. It was the strangest thing. We got to our room on the second floor No elevators by the way, which good thing we didnt need one. The door knob on our door was broken, it would stay in the down position. As soon as we opened the door the overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke engulfed us. I called down right away and made sure they knew this since I had to sign a form at check in about a $350 charge if room was found smelling of cigarette smoke. Our window lock was broken and hanging, walls were disgustingly dirty and we felt like we would get bedbugs staying here. So we left to see if we could find another hotel to check into. We got lucky and were able to check into another hotel. We were willing to sleep in our car rather than stay in this hotel. We did NOT feel safe at all here. When we went to let them know we were checking out, they were on the attack. Would not refund our stay even though we checked out less then 1.5 hrs after checkin. NOTHING LIKE PICTURES
