The Collonade is my first pick of hotels in Boston. It is across the street from the Prudential Center where there are great restaurants and shopping. The area is walkable, there are several colleges nearby, Newbury street is close enough to walk to with lots of restaurants and great shops. The hotel is also close by car to various sightseeing areas. The staff is very welcoming. Norman the day Bellman is awesome, he makes the guests feel at home, he has Great Recommendations and he is very helpful at hailing a Taxi if needed. The rooms are clean with bottles of water, coffee, refrigerator and nice amenities in the bathroom. An extra bonus is a cute duck that sits on the top of the bathtub.
