Parking in their car park is not free, it's £10. This is obviously a very old building so not a lot of soundproofing 🙄. Breakfast is self service and was lukewarm at best. The staff were very friendly and helpful though.

Business Trip
Used this hotel before due to its location and generally value for money. Please note you need to add breakfast and parking (another £20) to the room cost. WIFI was adequate.

Great dog friendly hotel
Great characterful old hotel within walking distance to the Hoe, pubs and eateries. Dogs were made very welcome by the staff which adds to the good service. Breakfast was pretty amazing. Everything you would expect and plenty of it. Great place to stay and will stay again. Helios

Friendly staff, historic building near the Hoe and walking distance to everything. I like the hotel and often choose to stay there when I'm visiting Plymouth both when I'm on business and when socialising.

It is fair to say that the property, externally at least, requires some TLC

This is the 3rd time we stayed usually stayed up in the tower suite. This time stayed in a standard double.
Wallpaper and plaster falling off the wall, huge broken spring hanging down from infer the chair and window hardly opened so was extremely uncomfortable due to the heat. Was glad to leave and go home to a more ventelated place.
Very disappointed seems our other stays have been wonderful, we even had our wedding reception here. Lovely receptionist did waver the £10parking charge.
