We had an amazing stay at the Copamarina Beach resort! We stayed at the Hyatt Regency near San Juan for the first several nights of our trip and then traveled across the island for a quick visit (and snorkel) in Rincon and then down to Guanica to the Copamarina. This resort has a different "vibe" (as my teenagers put it) than the Hyatt - more relaxing, quiet, much more focus on the beach and accessing the ocean, although the kids also loved the pools. We loved renting the paddleboards to use on the beautiful calm bay and we even rented a little sailing catamaran (Hobie Cat) which my teenage son (who is a sailor) took us all out in - it was magical! The team at the resort had to do some work to rig the HobieCat for us since they don't get much use, and we really appreciated their efforts to make the experience possible for us. We enjoyed the foot at the Las Palmas outdoor restaurant on the property which was easy to use and had great food and service (the breakfast buffet was a bit light on options, but otherwise great!). The area near the resort was beautiful and calm, not crazy and touristy like the San Juan area. We took an outing into Parguera to do the evening boat tour of the nearby bioluminescent bay (highly recommend this, we used Parguera Water Sports and Adventure tour company) from Copamarina and that worked great! Would HIGHLY recommend this resort for a family vacation that is outside of the usual chains and outside of the crazy tourist areas.

Beach not good. All inclusive package only offered 3 meals a day and drinks but limited. Also no snacks offered in between in the all inclusive package and it was 116$ per person per day. Drinks expensive 12-15$ per drink and with the heat they get warm fast. Gilligans island was disappointing. Pay for one hour or longer but drive to and back counts in that hour so subtract 20 minutes. However, the grounds, the rooms, the staff were ALL incredible. The pools were excellent. If you want laid back and relax it’s great. If you’re looking for adventure and a great beach it is not. The ocean is warm but just not a great beach to get in to the water. There are no places to shop for souvenirs in town. Closest place is Yaucko which isn’t far and a very quaint town. There is local store to buy stuff and fridge in room. Overall the place was really really great. Just depends on what you’re looking for. Cynthia and Edwin were exceptional.

We enjoyed our vacation. All the staffs are very friendly and kind. Food is also good! (Try the food) we did out for the gilangan island snorkel and really enjoyed it. We saw fishes under mangrove trees.

No hay suficiente entretenimiento en las habitaciones, ni Netflix, no Youtube, internet lento; no microwave; sería bueno que tuvieran máquinas para uno mismo lavar su ropa, ya que van muchas familias; y algo negativo, el día que llegamos nos asignaron una habitación que ya estaba ocupada, y nos dimos cuenta al abrir la puerta; creo q es un ERROR DEMASIADO GRANDE, solo nos dijeron q los disculpemos; supuestamente teníamos derecho a una bebida alcohólica gratis, y nunca la recibimos; pero en general el resort es muy lindo y acogedor

The property is so pretty. Several pools, cabanas on the beach, two wonderful restaurants. Having easy access to the beach was such a plus. Even moreso the staff was SOwarm, knowledgeable and always willing to help. Julissa was amazing and always with a smile. Julia, by the end of our stay remembered our room. Eunice at Mi Spa was so welcoming and our masseuse Alexander was just what we needed. Even the other guests were friendly. How could you not in sunshine and lush greenery with the water a few feet away. The only downsides; there is no elevator so be mindful when booking if you have mobility issues. The service for the restaurants is a bit on the slow side but between the gorgeous scenery and weather and the DELICIOUS food at the end of the wait, you don't even mind. I don't even like Tostones but at Las Palmas... they're amazing!! We had a wonderful stay.

The stay was fantastic for the whole family. There were five adults and four children, and for them it was an experience they will never forget. We went to Guilin Island and it was a great experience. The breakfasts were exquisite and the dinners were delicious. All the hotel staff were very attentive and respectful. We recommend it 100%. Thank you very much.
