Beautiful property, and amazing value for something less than a 10 minute walk to the Petra visitor center. Mohammed-Ali made check-in beyond seamless and even after check-in made staying here feel warm and a very pleasant experience in general. Room was clean, as were the common areas, bed was comfortable, no complaints in that department. Cannot recommend staying here enough.

Front desk clerk was amazing! She gave us some tips for hiking Petra from the backside to the front which worked great! Other meals were quite reasonable in a location where everything for tourists is pricey because that is the only local business. Room was clean, comfortable and fully functional. I stayed here for a few days while visiting Petra. The staff are amazing, super friendly and helpful, even offering me a tour of the various view points. My room was fine and the bed is comfortable. There is a convenience store close by and a few restaurants. Breakfast is fantastic and includes eggs. The walk to the hotel from the entrance at Petra is 15 minutes and all uphill.

Overall our stay at Petra Aretas Hotel was extremely satisfactory. The breakfast was nice and was served promptly at 6 am. We were able to go visit Petra right after breakfast and beat the crowd. In fact, we parked our car at the hotel and walked to the Petra Visitor Center. Both the owner and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed our stay at Petra Aretas.
