There was some signs thatlike most chain motels somebody was starting to out profits into their pocket and not into infrastructure and by removing the breakfast despite still advertising it...leaving front line staff to deal with grumpy travellers

The room was gross, it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Cobb webs in the corners, sticky stuff on the bathroom sink, white paint on the bed linens. The Tv only stayed on 1 channel and the volume didn’t work. The room was freezing when we got there. Had to turn the heat on ( sorry but if we booked a room they should have turn the heat on at best 65° before we arrived. Half of the outlets didn’t work.
