Lovely location right on the seafront. Room was a good size and had everything we needed, staff were pleasant and friendly. However decor is dated and the room could have been cleaner and this let it down.

Amazing food and views

I spent a week at this hotel with the breakfast and dinner package with a seaview room. Its a stunning hotel that does need a few touch ups here and there which they will be doing now under new ownership. The staff are outstanding and a real credit to the hotel no request was to big or small. My favourite thing was their buffet full english breakfast having said that their dinner was also a three course grand affair that gives you a choice of three for each course. We will look forward to staying here again in the future.

We booked this hotel because the rates had gone up considerably in the usual hotel we book. We have stayed in this hotel before, as hotels go it is clean and staff are friendly. The room was ok but the bed/mattress was far too soft and springy. The breakfast was fine with a good assortment of food.

Staff very friendly and a good size room at a really good price. Property does need freshening up but you’ve got to look past that due to the age of the building. Room was tired, floors uneven & super squeaky & shower left a lot to be desired but clean & comfortable & affordable for an overnight visit (sea view made up for room condition). Reception staff very polite but LOUIS, front of house at breakfast, was an absolute credit to the hotel considering breakfast was very busy and they appeared to be very understaffed.
