Quest 256 is located very nicely in central Wellington. The main retail shopping area is literally on the doorstep and it's only a short walk to the waterfront with all of its bars and restaurants. The room itself was ideal and there was laundry facilities (and sachets of detergent) provided in the room. First time we've stayed in a Quest property and would highly recommend. They're certainly on our list for future short breaks and holidays.

Helpful staff, easy communication regarding transport and arrival time, great that each room has a laundry machine. Close to the Cable Car and easy walk to harbour restaurants and the Beehive / government sites. On our second stay here in a week, we were upgraded to a suite which was an additional nice comfortable touch. Highly recommended!

Great studio room with good kitchen facilities, dish washer and washing machine. Not a huge room but adequate for two people, comfortable and had all we needed, it was very fresh and clean. Staff were good at check-in and during our stay. Liked the coffee machine and some little extras like washing liquid, dish tablets and coffee capsules. We used the parking as an extra which was easy enough just be aware you need to be careful with the tight access in and out of car park.

The room had washing machine which was convenient. The kitchen was nice and the room felt like it was brand new. The negative thing about this hotel is that they held the credit card authorization for a month. And it was supposed to be released in few days.

Very nice room, good amenities, great location. Good kitchen with nice utensils, so that we could cook real meals. Also nice with a washing machine/dryer. The room was very clean when we arrived, but daily cleaning was only superficial.

Very clean room and as new condition. Microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine and washing machine all included and a small kitchen that has everything needed for a short stay. The location is also 2nd to none, 80m to Woolworths and cable car and 150m to waterfront restaurants and museums. Will stay again

Positioned city centre makes it a very convenient place to stay. The staff were helpful especially when we were checking out. The room was well appointed and relatively new. The bedroom area is however a little cramped.

Our stay was very pleasant. The lobby is up on 4 on a busy street, but once you have that figured out – it’s a great location, in the heart of Wellington’s CBD. We were steps from the Wellington Cable Car, which gives you access to the Botanical Garden and Zealandia. Te Papa was a 15-minute walk away. I don’t know if they have food at the hotel, but we didn’t really check as there was loads of dining nearby. The hotel communication was great – they answered our questions beforehand and even offered to set up a bed in the additional room for our son. The in-room washer and dryer unit was handy for laundry. Rooms were spacious, clean, and climate-controlled; beds were comfy; hotel staff was friendly and helpful. It was an excellent stay and we'd definitely stay here again.
