Rooms need a refurb. Bad or non existent sound proofing between rooms. Woken early by staff with bags that were not mine. Broken plug in wash basin. No tea or coffee facilities in room and no free bottle of mineral water. Not what you expect of 4 star hotel.

No coffee in rooms. You do have a fridge. You are 2 minutes from the sea but no where to swim. Hotel pool is lovely but drinks are expensive. I would recommend a sort break here. PS the breakfast is lovely too.

We hebben erg genoten van ons verblijf . Het onthaal was heel vriendelijk en we voelden ons hier dadelijk thuis. Het hotel straalt ook een zekere familiegevoel uit wat het ook tot een aangename ervaring maakte. Verder waren we heel tevreden over het ontbijt en het avondmaal. Zeker een aanrader voor wie een paar dagen in Siracuse wil verblijven.

We loved the Villa Politi, a grand hotel with a very interesting history. The guest areas are spacious and the pool beautiful. The only concern we had, the dinner service was a little slow due to large tour groups dining, the staff were under pressure. We would have also appreciated tea/coffee making facilities in our room. We would definitely stay there again.
