Our room was tired. It had stained ceiling tiles, fraying carpet on the entrance to the ensuite, stained carpet, mini fridge inoperative. In addition to the above, the hotel was undergoing renovation in the lobby area, the breakfast was very poor value for money. Overall, a poor visitor experience.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room itself was nice but was looking a little old and worn. It was nice to have access to the spa facilities, it would be nice if these had an upgrade, the area was looking old, worn and dirty and could do with more seating areas/areas to put belongings when using the pool/thermal areas. On the Monday morning there was a lot of drilling and banging from quite early on which was a shame as it did wake us up earlier than planned.

Tired hotel that was full of renovation works during my stay. Totally appreciate they are trying to fix this situation, but they didn’t warn me ahead that it would be so awful. Lobby was partly boarded up; the pool was completely closed. Room was old-fashioned and bland. Fine with all of this if they DROP the prices massively and explain the situation in advance. But of course, they did not.
