Clean room, good amenities, I like the fact that they have small things to help families like smaller toilet seats. Very suitable for families with toddlers.

Fantastic time at the woodland village. Staff were absolutely wonderful, accommodation was great and the area was perfect for families. Lots of out door play areas. Lego creations spots inside the clubhouse. Food was nice Entertainment was good We celebrated a birthday and the staff where lovely and went above and beyond

8/10 Very good

Lego characters scattered around the grounds are engaging for children. As is the Lego in rooms, VR effects and mood lighting in the bedroom. Play areas around the site are excellent and the reception and restaurant are well run and organised. Lodges are fairly basic but have all that you need.

Excellent experience. Beautiful rooms

Beautiful hotel, lots of Lego details, very well looked after, room service super quick. Activities for the children in the room and generous gift. I loved it. I live in London and I don’t need to stay there but I will again just because I loved it. And they have a splash pool as well!

Fab hotel for kids

Our kids loved it and won’t stop asking to go back. The hotel catered for children so well it made parenting a lot easier! Would definitely recommend

Book from the legoland website

Don’t book this hotel on Hotels or Expedia. You will not get free tickets to the theme parks. It’s disappointing You only get them if you book directly from the website

Lovely stay!

We had a lovely time at the hotel. All the staff were friendly and willing to help with anything you needed. Nice relaxed feeling there even though it was busy. Attention to detail at the legoland hotel was amazing, lots to see amd do.

Good experience but will nail you with surcharges

1) standard check in time is 4pm. "Early" check in is a beautiful £40 surcharge so factor this in for anyone booking with kids/luggage 2) charged my wife for a day pass ticket £96 for our son who turned 5 the morning of arrival despite having bought an adult + 1 preschooler ticket package

Staff were really friendly and gave my boys lots of attention. Great room. Only things I would mention is shame the breakfast is not a buffet anymore..

The hotel is very unique and of course aimed at Toddlers up to early teens so the setup for them is very good. Staff are fantastic but let down by the tired looking facilities and average food and drink offerings.

6/10 Good

Good but could be better

Overall brilliant - perfect for kids and very approachable staff. The check in was very quick and technology based( it was self service which was neither good nor bad). We got to the lodge and settled in with no problem, opting for showers however we realised the shower design means that any water splashing off you from the waterfall shower meant it soaked the floor outside the shower, luckily we had a bath mat but that was soaked after 3 showers. We made our way to the restaurant and the vibe we got straight away was Butlins vibe with kids entertainment put on etc. Food was very overpriced, a burger was £21 for adults and a kids 2 course meal was £23( we heard another family ask how much the single course kids meal was and they were shocked when staff said its £17). I dont consider that a family friendly price after paying upwards of £200 for the night stay. The food was beafeater quality rather than over £100 for 3 drinks 3 meals quality. The lodges are situated around some play parks which in principal are great as it means kids can play while parents can relax on the front porch. What actually happens is kids play until late hours( we went to sleep at 9:30 and they were still outside) and be generally loud. That however is something i would argue is our fault for going to a kids resort rather than kids being noisy. Generally positive but does need to reflect on their pricing and designs of bathrooms.

2/10 Poor

Not worthy a penny!!! Overated! Overpriced, mold smell carpets- horrible food restaurant choices with reservations only! Not convenient to shipping, eating or any transportation . Staff was so mean and quite unprofessional- possible racism practices exhibited at front desk

We had a lovely stay at the legoland resort, we booked it the day before as a last minute decision and were so happy we did. The receptionist at check in was fab, I think he was called Jay, he made our experience kick off to a great start! The room was brilliant, love the separate area for the children and we all enjoyed the treasure hunt! Such a lovely touch, and theres so much to do in the hotel we couldnt believe the choice! There were a few areas in the room that need a quick once over (cobwebs in the corners and dirt on the bins/ceilings) but it didnt feel dirty. Our room was perfectly placed, however we were right behind the dragon so we struggled to sleep with the light. Parking was so convinent and access to the park the next day was amazing! The whole thing felt so magical, food wasnt great and really over priced but its a theme park, we understand. Overall we had a great time and would stay again :)

2/10 Poor

What a disappointment. One thing after another. The staff communication between each other is terrible. Told one thing, then told another, sent here and there. Sent away at breakfast. When we got breakfast it was awful. Undercooked pancakes. As soon as you sit down staff pounce on you for your order. The swimming pool was grotty and nothing more than a small baby splash pad with a tiny slide and a small area for swimming. We lasted 15 minute. The lego play area is an extra £10 a kid. The room stunk of wet dog, the bathroom was dirty and hair from someone else was left in the bath. There was only one lift working so we had to keep waiting 10 minutes each time to use it. The park opens half an hour early for guests but thats only for 4 rides. It was very disappointing and im very annoyed. I just wouldn't botter. Go to a premium inn.
Roseane, 1-night trip

2/10 Poor

Terrible: arrived at 5 after flight was canceled and stuck after hours to come to a hotel with VERY rude staff. Yelling that I should have checked in online. Which we were unaware of. Room was not even ready. Then the staff lied to us and made us wait another 40 minutes by telling us housekeeping was putting the toys in the safe for the kids. We get to the room, no toys, no sheets, room is not very clean. A lot of the amenities were unclean, example play areas. Had to go to the desk 2 times back to rude employees to continually ask for the toys. Had to request linens for the beds. The store really only has legos and the hours are 10-6, not very convenient. I would recommend staying at a motel 6 or super 8 before recommending this hotel. The rudeness was unnecessary and uncalled for. Especially at a resort supposedly geared towards children. They may want to hire employees that actually like children. Do not waste your money.

8/10 Very good

Magical but not clean, and great GF breakfast!

This place is really magical, fun and family friendly. Check in was long winded in regards to sorting a card, and not being told which room we were heading too etc.. And although magical and really cool themed rooms to distract you…..the village cabins are fairly grubby - it was sons birthday and he didn’t want to play with balloons as dust and hair was all over them. There was writing and crayons etc on wall and the toilet was dirty too. But overall the magical distraction keeps your eye away and your child has so so much fun that the rest doesn’t matter! (But if your thinking of spending out and expecting magical and immaculate don’t do it) All you can eat buffet breakfast and cooked breakfast is super yummy and you can meet a character which was really brilliant!!! Including Gluten free!! Evening entertainment was lacking but the Lego bricks in the restaurant help! (Food and drinks pricey as expected!) we ordered takeaway! Don’t forget to ask for your parking vouchers so you can go in and out for free if needed.

6/10 Good

Terrible customer service, no hotel guest perks

Comfortable clean hotel and sweet nature trail. Customer service absolutely terrible. There is a quiz and treasure chest in the room but our chest didn’t have a lanyard so afield at reception to have one and reception staff said they were discontinued at the hotel (even though lots of children wearing them). Saw the housekeeping team in the morning who had a whole stash of them and happily provided two for the children. Breakfast in the morning we were told we could only go at 9.30 (hotel guests can access park at 9.15). Went to breakfast at 9.15 and the breakfast hall was empty. Stood and waited 15 minutes to be seated (no one at the desk). Taken to table and just left, not not told about drinks or cereals or how to order so left waiting for a waiting member of staff to return. Husband ordered a Costa latte from the bar at usual Costa cost to be given Luke warm water with done coffee granules thrown in and the “barista” to then argue that it was a latte (manger stepped in and made an acceptable latte). Went to the park and unlike the other two hotels there is no dedicated entrance for hot guests so had to join very long queue to enter the park. The hotel parking is with coach parking so took over an hour to exit at the end of the day. No swimming pool facilities like the other two onsite hotels. I absolutely do not recommend this hotel, especially for the very high cost. If you want to stay at a LEGOLAND hotel pay the extra to stay at one of the other two.

Grandparents treat for boys

Hotel was great including room treasure hunt & surprise gifts & playroom. Food in Bricks & park not! Mainly unhealthy options for children apart from fruit. Cereals all least healthy options. No wholemeal bread. No dairy free options at ice cream station. Fizzy drink stations very obvious in hotel & park water refill not. We had booked 2 nights dinner but cancelled the 2nd. Other than food hotel was a fun experience and our 2 grandsons 5yrs & 3.5yrs really enjoyed it.The staff were very helpful when there was a surprise missing from the safe. Swimming pool also good. It would help if there was somewhere a 2nd parent / carer could sit and watch as i had to leave session earlier to fetch forgotten goggles but would have to have got changed again to go back in. Staff members helped by taking them in.

8/10 Very good

Overall not bad

We enjoyed our stay very much. But I would have to say the staff let us down with having little to no information when I asked something but they where very friendly but this cost us more money because we didn’t know about the drinks had to be paid for the next day we weren’t given the correct info when we arrived about the hunt in lodge for the Lego set for the kids and what happens in general, overall I don’t think I would make the trip again because it seemed at times to be more of a con than and money grab than a enjoyable stay.
