Nice, big room with balcony, clean, nice bed, quiet, nice staff. Only 100 meters from Galata Tower. 350m to the Metro station. You get to and from IST in 60 minutes with only one metro line change.

Stayed here for 3 nights and it’s a great little property, check in was simple and easy. The staff was always friendly and helpful. There is a restaurant attached to the property, we did not eat there but it looked good if you need a bite to eat. The hotel is within walking distance of public transport, sights such as the Galata tower, the Bosporus and so forth. Room itself was small, but it was clean and comfortable for two people.

The location was excellent, everything else was ok. The A/C didn’t work, we couldn’t keep the patio door open because of the neighbors smoking, short on towels/blankets, long on light switches that worked on individual lights instead of sets. There was some nice finishing touches but it has clearly been poorly constructed in some parts (a whole light panel came off the ceiling our first day). If you’re on a budget it’s fine for the location benefits but not sure we’d stay again.

Galata Tower Stay

Great proximity to the tower. Your taxi will have a very difficult time navigating the streets nearby. Be prepared to walk a block with your luggage. The neighborhood while safe really needs a wash. It's surprising that the hotels on the street don't each pitch in for a cleaning crew. Basic hotel presentation kind of stuff. If you're going to be doing your hair or makeup in the room, know that the lights in the room and bathroom are dim.

Hotels pictures promises so much more. So get ready to lower your expactations. ”Soundproofed rooms” - no, we could hear every word from reception in our room. Free welcome party every day - no there was not. We chose this hotel because of the balcony. Unfotunately the balcony and balcony furniture were in bird poop so the balcony was unusable. Location is good and 5-10mins from public transport. Staff is superb and willing to assist on your needs.
