On a street with nice coffee shops about a half mile walk to the center of Coyoacan, this is a well priced place with a friendly staff. It is, however, right next to a school playground so be prepared for loud school kids in the AM.

The place is easy to find and plenty of eating and shopping places around. Lots of nice cafes, especially for breakfast. Further down the road, you can get to market place with lots of small shops selling fruits, vegetables, dried fruits and vegetables, clothing, household items and prepared foods--all kinds. We happen to be there on Friday and a couple blocks over, the closed the street and there were street eateries of all kinds, the aroma was so enticing. The rooms and hotel were abundantly clean and lots of nice Mexican art and knicknacks decorating the Casa. Coyoacan is charming place. Staff were nice and friendly when someone was at the front desk but they are not 24x7. One time there guests that arrived rather late and were a bit loud, the sound carried. There was full kitchen we could use if we wanted. Free coffee & tea, to be made by ourselves unless staff or guest made it before you got there.

This charming small hotel is excellently situated in the heart of Coyoacan. Our large room was beautiful and very comfortable. It had a mini-fridge, a standing fan and a safe. We had access to several sitting areas and a full kitchen. It worked perfectly for our family group of four adults.
