One of those rare hotels where the place you stay is actually one of the highlights of your trip, instead of just a way to get to other highlights. The design is cool - you're surrounded by exposed brick and reclaimed wood. On our stay, the people were super friendly and authentic, and there were spaces in the room and common areas where we wanted to linger just for fun.

The staff was great. And I love the doggie water bowl with all the names of the dogs staying at the hotel. There was some stick stuff in the carpet in our room right next to the bed that was dark in color. I’m not sure what it was, it almost seemed like tar. And there was a lime on the floor in one of the elevators from the time we got there until the time we left.

We were not aware that there was an active train route that passed by the hotel. It was very loud at night and we did not get good sleep. I would stay again. However, I’d request a room on either a higher floor or on the opposite side of the hotel.
