The room was spotless. Check in very easy & fast. The location is perfect. The breakfast is excellent. Next door is 24 hour convenience store, very handy. Everything at this hotel was great up until I noticed $100 was missing from my safe. I messaged receptionist regarding the missing money and within 10 minutes, denial, denial, denial with out even having time to question team members and anyone who has access to master keys to safes and rooms. I was letting it slide and already considered it as a hefty $100 tip for the person who took it. I didn’t care but simply wanted to bring it to attention that there were thieves working at the hotel. Receptionist made it WORSE by wanting to get the police involved after I had told them I was already letting it go. They continued to deny and wanted to get the police involved. The theft occurred overnight while I was on my overnight Ha Long Bay cruise that the hotel had set up themselves. Upon returning to property, I had less than 20 hours left in Hanoi and just wanted to enjoy my final night. However, they continued to harass me via WhatsApp and continued to deny and urged me to file a report with local police. I told them there is no proof of the theft so it was a waste of time to get police involved and continued to insist. It was already bad that someone stole $100 but they made it 100x worst with the constant harassment all night when all I wanted to do was enjoy my final night in Hanoi. Lesson learned: DO NOT LEAVE CASH IN SAFE

My review is based on two separate room experiences. The first room, located on the top floor, was spacious and comfortable. However, being on the highest level, it became quite noisy during rainfall due to the roof exposure. The second room, in a different section of the building, was much smaller, had no windows, and smelled of mould. Rain also amplified the sound of water draining nearby, which was annoying. The staircase walls showed visible signs of mould. What truly stood out was the staff. Friendly, attentive, and with good English, they consistently went out of their way to help. A particularly thoughtful touch was that every staff member addressed me by name. Breakfast was simple but sufficient, with cereals, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, water, croissants, and a few hot dishes to choose from. Overall, I would recommend this hotel—with a caveat: be sure to specify your room preferences when booking to ensure a more comfortable stay.

Fantastic Stay in the Heart of Hanoi! My boyfriend and I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Hanoi.
