We absolutely loved our stay at Spira Hotel. The property is beautiful, chic, and thoughtfully designed, with rooms that are spotless, spacious, unique and gorgeous. The staff was incredibly kind and welcoming, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is perfect, close to all the action while still feeling calm and relaxing. The hotel is beautifully designed and the artist designed rooms are cool. Super clean, with coffee and minibar in the room. Most notably the staff was incredibly helpful - particularly given how crazy the time during dia de los muertes can be. Only downside is that the rooms are a bit small and dark but there is a nice patio area on the rooftop with a bar open for breakfast and in the afternoon.

Love for Spira from the Honeymooners!

A wonderful, comfortable, stay right in the heart off Oaxaca. We loved Spira Hotel and the emphasis on local artists and overall design. The bed was very comfortable, the skylight in the bathroom and tub outside were well worth it with mood lighting that made all the choices feel intentional. The room was exactly as pictured. Breakfast was also delicious and a great way to end our trip. We would definitely recommend this stay to anyone thinking about it!

This was an amazing hotel. You are first impressed by the design and aesthetic of the hotel, both modern and traditional. The staff was friendly and extremely helpful with booking taxis needed throughout our stay. It was much appreciated. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable. Hotel is a short walk to the main downtown area, no more than 10 minutes. I would definitely recommend this hotel for anyone wanting to visit Oaxaca.
