This hotel is older, but very well-kept. Rooms were always kept clean and neat, the bed was comfortable, and the room came with a couple of fans to help with the warmth (very important on the top floor!). Also, the hotel is a two minute walk from Würzburg's downtown; close enough to be easily accessible, but far enough away not to be bothered by the night life. Would definitely recommend!

the only drawback to this hotel is the lack of a lift had to climb 55 stairs to room on 3rd floor carrying bags no assistance only one person at desk

I had a pleasant stay at this hotel in Würzburg. The location was one of its best features—very walkable and close to the city center. Major attractions like the Würzburg Residence and the Old Main Bridge were within easy walking distance, making it ideal for sightseeing without needing a car. There were also plenty of restaurants and cafes nearby, which made dining out very convenient. The area felt safe and lively, perfect for evening strolls. The only downside was parking—it was a bit difficult to find and not very straightforward. If you're driving, be prepared to spend a little extra time navigating the parking situation. However, once settled, you really don’t need the car much thanks to the central location. Overall, a great choice for exploring Würzburg on foot.

I stayed for one night. Veryy happy with the room and customer service. Check out time was 11am and they were happybto allow me to leave a bag there until the evening when i had a bus connection to leave the city.
