Worst experience ever. Turned up owner not there. Hard to find no signs. Stood in rain for hour. Bad communication. Then owner said no rooms available ecen though wed booked. I was stuck at 9pm with no accomodation and he wont give refund

The property was incredibly difficult to find and when we eventually found it had to ring a number that was stuck on the door to say we had arrived. The man on the phone had no idea he was expecting us, when we gave booking number I received a message to say booking accepted followed by him not coming to the door and just said there was no room for us due to a leak. There was no face to face contact, no courtesy call to say there was no room and now no contact back to initiate my refund! 100% do not recommend.

never ever book this hotel we turned up and went to check in as we rang the phone number they said that there was no rooms available when we actually booked the room a month before we got there and i still haven’t got my refund back yet. NEVER EVER going back to that booking ever again and for future people who look at that hotel don’t because they just rob you

Very dirty I could not even sit on the bed, the bathroom was unbelievably dirty too. Apparently some elderly men were using the room beforre I arrived because shortly after i entered the room, one of them knocked asking for his prayer mat on the bed. The state of the room was shocking, I had to forfeit my money and hurriedly left! They should just close down if they are not ready for the budiness !!

Was asked to move to a different location when we got there, which was miles away and we got there the lock on door didnt work. Pictures of both locations didnt look anything like what it was. Refused to stop there and had to spend much more on alternative accommodation

Absolutely shocking awful place. Flew over from Dublin Saturday morning and arrived at the hotel to check in and was told they had over booked. I called the hotel the night before to check as I had seen in the comments someone arrived before and they were told room was unavailable. I was told on the phone room is 100% confirmed for my name. Arrived at the hotel and they were so dismissive saying there’s nothing we can do and pushed us out of the hotel. I called the “manager” and he hung up on me. Vile vile vile place please do not book. They took a few of £16 off me when booking and still gave my room away. Scum of the earth. Luckily I was able to find another room in the travel lodge and it was a blessing in disguise because this Cheetham guest house is an absolute dingy dive and it would have been horrible staying there anyway. Never going to book with hotels.com again either because there was no support available when we were stuck. They actually had the audacity to message me and tell me to review my stay.

SCAM ALERT!! I booked my stay for 3 nights I.e. from Fri 28 Aug till 31st. I received a confirmation email before few hours of Check-in. I arrived at property around 2 hrs late from my Checkin time. Upon arrival I found the property door is shut and has no other access to entrance. There was a dead rat beneath the bench at entrance, pls check image. Also, There was a contact no. pasted on door for check in however the contact no. given on confirmation email was different. So I contact the no. Given on email first which didn’t respond and later I contact the no. Put On the door. Their staff picked my call and first he told me that my booking has been cancelled cos my contact no. Is missing, and he asked my confirmation no. To process the refund which I refused at first. When I called the same no. again to request if there are any options available or any rooms with higher prices, they refused, and luckily the guy came out from property. Then I spoke with him in person who told me that the property damaged and their previous tenant is still there who is drunk. So, I shared my confirmation no. And left. He also told me that I will receive my refund mostly by Tuesday. So I left the property and called hotels.com and informed the same, which confirmed from property and connected me with Expedia to process the refund for which I am still waiting. Since then everytime I chatted hotels.com they told me wait 24 to 72 hours and no resolution from their end. TRULY DISAPPOINTED BY HOTEL

i would like a full refund and compensation, as i arrived to the place i phoned the number on the door as it was locked and was then told that all of the rooms were full and i would not be able to stay there, i therefore did not have accommodation that i had paid for but i also missed the event that i traveled from glasgow for which was a complete and utter waste of my time and money
