AVOID! This inn is not an actual inn. There is no check in desk or staff when you arrive. It is NOT clearly indicated that guests need to contact the property owner before arrival to coordinate arrival and receipt of keys. Upon arrival and phoning the property to request a check in via voice mail no one ever returned the call. There was a very loud pub on the ground floor so it was probably for the best that the property decided not to allow us to check in. I suppose if you don’t answer the voicemail and don’t allow your guests to check in when they arrive the facility makes all kinds of money as the payment was definitely taken and then there’s no housekeeping services to be paid. I’m not sure how this property is even eligible to be represented by hotels.com.

Very confusing check in as the buildings priority is the bar and with 3-4 pm check in times there is often a long wait to talk to anyone as the servers are also taking care of hotel check ins. The rooms are horribly dated and in disrepair. Issues with cleanliness, shower unclean, previous guests hair on shower walls, no idea what was sanitized and what was not. Place may had some charm long ago, but those days are long passed and forgotten. It is a shame as the exterior has charm and appeal.
