Very clean and safe. Great for girlfriends getaway with yoga and zen vibes. Massage on site was wonderful. Not directly on the beach, but a very short walk. Giving 4 stars because pool-view rooms are deceiving- if you get bottom floor, your balcony faces the sidewalk, where you are facing the maintenance workers cleaning up right in front of you. I would stay there again, but in an ocean-view room or request a higher floor (2nd or 3rd). Small hotel, friendly staff, bar, plenty of lounge chairs and sofas. Both pools are cleaned very well every day!

Very nice stay. Loved that El Tunco is right behind the property.. access to beach, restaraunts all in the backyard. The staff was great. Wanted to leave (late check out) and was told we couldn’t after calling the night before because someone booked the room. That was disappointing but we were able to stay on the resort until 4pm. Room was small for two if you want space but amazing view, clean, food was okay and bar was a nice vibe. Got a massage for 1 hour for $50. All in all had a great time!

The property conditions and cleanness are excellent. The staff are friendly and are always willing to help. The room was totally insulated from noise so it was very quiet for a good night sleep. The only little thing I didn’t like is that they were stingy with towels. There were not enough towels. But other than that I highly recommend this hotel.

We really enjoyed our stay here, the staff were amazing. The manager Gabrielle and staff were very friendly and resposive to any issues. The rooms are very clean, beds are comfortable, good shower with hot water, refridgerator in room, close to the beach, pools were cleaned daily, breakfast was excellent. We were also able to use the Boca Olas amenities next door. The hotel is in a quiet area of El Tunco but close to everything. Improvements that we would have liked are minor: the rooms could use a few extra hooks for towels and the chairs on the balcony were not very comfortable. The front pool area needs a few more lounge chairs and some shade as it is very hot in the afternoon.

I would like to start off by saying I’m a 22 year old full time worker who traveled here to visit my boyfriend’s country which I have done before. I have never left a message at any location here either, but this was bad. We actually decently enjoyed our stay up until the very end. It was an okay location and was not very dirty. However, my boyfriend ended up getting sick and slightly stained one of the towels that he attempted to clean even before we left as a courtesy. The property charged us $30 for staining the towels which I thought was absolutely absurd considering that towels used for cleaning up yourself and other things in a hotel room when they are dirty. We questioned them and even offered to go back up and clean the towels further (even though that seemed completely insane considering we paid $340 for a one night stay) and the cleaning people proceeded to refuse this and demanded $30 for two towels one of which had nothing on it. It was incredibly uncomfortable as well when they brought the towels down and proceeded to make my boyfriend examine the towels which again were barely stained (AND THEY ARE TOWELS THAT ARE USED FOR CLEANING YOURSELF AND OTHER HOTEL ROOM ITEMS). It was overall a very strange and uncomfortable experience that upset us enough we will absolutely never go back and could not recommend enough that you avoid this location unless you want to be afraid to make a single stain or mess in your hotel. Very disappointing.
