The staff were friendly however my sleep was severely impacted by old single pane windows that were noisy, an uncomfortable mattress and too much light coming over the curtains. The bathroom had cobwebs and peeling walls and the fittings were old and worn. I was attending a training course nearby and my poor experience at the hotel definitely spoiled my capacity to learn. I didn't enjoy my stay and I will definitely not be returning.

This hotel needs an awful lot of refurbishment. We arrived and the radiators had been switched off all day. The room was freezing cold and we waited in our coats for it to warm up but had to eventually ask for support from the staff who provided an electric heater. We were in room 17, if the curtains are closed it covers the radiator completely. The ceiling has large cracks in it and the plaster looks as though it might fall off at any time. There was black mould in the bathroom and the radiator is rusting badly. Upon arrival the paintwork and appearance of this hotel gives a poor impression and sadly our experience was poor.
