I booked as had stayed here many years ago and like the bistro across the road. Don’t think the place has been touched since I last stayed. Very much in need of a renovation. It was quite cold even in May as only one wall heater so I think it will be too cold in Winter. Needs heat pumps and a heater in the bathroom. Comfy large bed though. Had little to no conversation with the manager so can’t say anything positive or negative. I was a bit early but I had to wait 20 mins or so for them to get back from wherever they’d gone and the office was shut. The place was largely empty - maybe 2 or 3 other rooms being used.
