2/10 Poor

The food was not good and the same breakfast, not even included in my booking which I paid as breakfast included. I didn’t like it

8/10 Very good

Nice location near the beach

When arriving at the hotel the staff was amazing. Check in was simple and stress free. I was given a room which didn’t have a walk in shower at first and did request this and eventually the staff provided me with the walk In shower. Can’t fault the experience. Restaurant menu could have more of a variety but overall great. Defo stay again

Hi This was a lovely hotel. Inside it has been renovated and a lovely dining area, lounge and bar. The rooms are nicely decorated. Outside lets it down as it needs a good paint. Close to the sea and to the town. I’d stay again

This hotel was just perfect. Outstanding room, we were pleasantly surprised as didn’t expect it to be so perfect. Very friendly helpful staff, lovely facilities and sundries in the room. Can’t wait to come back.

6/10 Good

The room was very nice but had wooden floors. Not a major problem until the room above with similar flooring was occupied. Very noisy. The Gym is very tired with old equipment. I do dislike arriving to a hotel which I have prepaid for to be immediately hit with a second bill for parking.

Beautiful hotel, Close to everything you could possibly need. Friendly staff, although not so clear on the spa bookings or menu for restaurant. Parking charged - Limited parking at Hotel property but on road road available at own cost Great rooms

Great stay during the air festival, busy but staff at the front desk were very friendly and informative. Room was quiet. Hotel is in walking distance to the beach via the zig zag path.

Two night stay

Enjoyed my stay staff all friendly and kind cleanliness very good . Enjoyed my morning swim pool and spa area very nice and relaxing. Had dinner in restaurant very nice decor beautiful. Only one gripe at breakfast tea lukewarm water in the urns not hot enough but I like a hot cup of tea. Location to beach good overall enjoyed my stay.

Friendly staff, the only down is theres no small fridge or telephone at the room just incase you will need access to the reception area or you will need anything but overall im happy😊

8/10 Very good

Our stay was lovely very clean room staff were so friendly and helpful. unfortunately an alarm started going off in our room at 10.30 and we had to move from our room to another room that wasn’t as nice. This was the only downfall but was very disappointed as we were away for a special occasion my daughters 21st Birthday and moving rooms with all our belongings at that time of night in our pj’s and after a couple of bottles of wine was not the relaxing night we had planned.

Nice stay

Lovely hotel, room was small but newly decorated. Bathroom was clean and stocked with toiletries. Was nice to have a little balcony too. Breakfast was a bit chaotic with not enough hot food items. Coffee machine had no coffee I mentioned to the waitress she said it was left on for people to get hot water for tea but there was no sign on the machine so lots of people were queing to make lattes, cappuccinos Etc and just getting cups of hot milk so a sign on it would have been helpful.
Natasha, 1-night trip

6/10 Good

Most staff were welcoming and friendly, one young lady in the bar was disinterested in guests and the enquiries. I booked the queen's to use the pool, gym, etc. But on arrival they were not in use due to refurbishment. This was not in the info from Expedia when I booked. Also I found the decor tired dark and dingy

6/10 Good

Hotel ok, pool awful.

The hotel itself is good, the rooms are refurbished, large and clean. The pool however is need of attention. I was there last year while th esp was receiving a makeover. Sadly this didn't extend to the pool area which is tired looking. The changing rooms are awful. They are tiny with only 2 showers and 2 cubicles. Shower curtains don't reach the ground causing leaks, no wet kit bags, or swimsuit dryer and the lockers don't work.
Clare, 1-night trip

4/10 Fair

I had to change to 3 different rooms. The first room the lights did not work, the 2nd had an alarm that kept sounding and the third and final room had dirty bedding.
1-night trip

4/10 Fair

Disappointing service and room was dirty.

Disappointing service at check in and throughout. No car parking spaces available. Boy on check in desk wasn’t helpful at all. Asked if there was a public car park near buy and he shrugged his shoulders and didn’t even answer. Luckily we found one literally round the corner 2 minutes walk. Room was dirty and unfinished. Not a hotel I would recommend when there are so many decent hotels in Bournemouth to choose from.
1-night trip

6/10 Good

So the stay was good but not it’s normal excellent standard, a few issues with the room - bathroom needs re-siliconing and some tlc, toilet had limescale marks and replacement towels smelt like cooking oil (so I just reused the same towel I had hung up)- I have stayed here 4 times previously and this is the first time the standard slipped (perhaps it’s was just luck of the draw). Also on one of the nights there was a dog in the hotel in a room and it was barking for about 3 hours (after an hour both myself and another person in a neighbouring room complained - staff contacted the owners who went out but took their time returning) I agree to make allowances but perhaps the hotel need to have a stricter policy about leaving animals alone in the rooms so it doesn’t disturb other people’s sleep as some were there as leisure guests however I was on a business trip (or perhaps group leisure guests and business guests separately).

Heart for this hotel has gone now

On arriving at the hotel, we wanted to say hi to george the manager, but sadly he was way too busy to pop by,such a shame really because we actually wanted to do the whole week of xmas there and xmas lunch etc, with our family as i said if managment cant find just a few minutes to say hi ,its times like this that make you think ok his loss ,ill go elsewhere with my custom, afrer all we were going there before merecure took over, you should keep ur guests happy, especially when the receptionist keptcasking me shall i see if hes free today,in the end i was a bit sad and said no dont bother, again feeling unappreciated as a customer i felt like they do only care about you bringing the revenue in and not me as a person,i will go elsewhere for xmas and take all my family with me,hate fake people
