We had an amazing stay here! The room was large and comfortable and could not be a more convenient location. The little balcony overlooking the street down below was a nice touch! Breakfast was great with a lot of different options, though you have to get there on the earlier side for any hot food to be left! We would definitely stay here again! Thank you!

Absolutely lovely, quaint place off the main square in a lively street. The rooms and beds and amenities were all clean and comfortable. The staff were super friendly, accommodating and helpful. Breakfast is served in on gorgeous dining hall with beautifully painted ceiling and doors. Enjoyed our stay here and recommend it without reservation.

Lovely hotel in the absolute perfect location. The room was very comfortable with good AC. Loved the little balcony on our room and the cute rooftop terrace. Breakfast was really really good too and had so much to offer. It was only a few minutes walk to the train station and it was in the perfect location right on the main town streets with all the shops and restaurants. Loved it and would absolutely stay here again!

Located centrally which facilitates visiting many spots. Very kind receptionists. Breakfast was very basic. AC not great and room felt cramped. Only har elevator from 2nd floor and upwards.

Different to get to from ferry

Reaching the hotel from the ferry is extremely difficult. Taking the elevator is a MUST! You absolutely CANNOT climb the steps with luggage or get good gps walking directions. The elevator location and the need to find and use it needs to be expressed as the ONLY option and be very specific as to how/where to find it. There are not easy to follow signs to find it, we actually NEVER saw an elevator or lift sign. Since there were no signs to the elevator we thought we could follow the walking gps directions. Once you start on this path, there's no other option but to finish. I was ready to call an ambulance when I couldn't get a taxi mid way. I am a fit 54 year old but this climb had me crying. The staff had to come and get me and assist. I was ill for the rest of my stay, but the staff was nice enough to go to the pharmacy for me to retrieve medical help.

I would leave 0 stars if I could. Extremely Disappointed — No Running Water and No Accountability I stayed at Hotel Maison Tofani and had a terrible experience. There was no running water in our room — not in the toilet, shower, or sink. When we brought this to the staff’s attention, they refused to move us to a new room and claimed it was a "city-wide issue." However, we spoke to other nearby businesses, and they all had running water — so clearly this was a problem with the hotel, not the city. This situation was completely unacceptable, especially for a hotel that presents itself as upscale. No water means no ability to use the bathroom or shower — completely unsanitary. We asked for a full refund given the circumstances, but the hotel did not accommodate us. I would strongly advise others to stay elsewhere, especially if you expect basic amenities and accountability when something goes wrong.

Stay here for great location & comfort! 5 Stars!!

We were soooo pleasantly surprised by this hotel! Giuseppe greeted us even when our fight was delayed & we didn’t arrive till midnight. The room was huge! Had the most comfortable bed and pillows we have encountered on our whole trip all over Italy. The location is fabulous right in the center of town, yet very quiet. Don’t miss the roof top terrace at day and night. Amazing views. The breakfast was phenomenal and offered many options that were all excellent. The breakfast room looks like you are in a palace with frescos on the ceiling. Convenient to all the main areas and easy access to everything! Giuseppe was the best!

I recently stayed at Maison Tofani in Sorrento, Italy, and had an outstanding experience. The hotel’s location in the heart of Sorrento was perfect, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and beaches. As my first boutique hotel experience in Europe, Maison Tofani exceeded my expectations. The staff's attention to detail, like preparing our breakfast at a time we chose, made our stay feel special. The air conditioning in our room was also a highlight, especially after coming from a hotel with poor A/C. It was a relief to return to a cool room after exploring in the heat. The only small downside was the busy pedestrian street outside, but the convenience of the location more than made up for it. I highly recommend Maison Tofani to anyone visiting Sorrento!

Room was just like in the picture however the nice jacuzzi shower promoted as a point of sale did not work. Also I usually have no issue but room was loud, so it would not be suitable for light sleepers! But it was a lovely period house with friendly and helpful staff and location is very good too with nice restaurants around! Lastly, This is more like a b&b than a luxury hotel, but overall a good experience with nice and helpful staff!
