I have traveled to over 90 countries and stayed in hundreds of hotels worldwide. This is my first one star review. I booked the Queen Bed, Kitchen, In-room dining room. When I arrived on February 3, the room I was given did not have a table inside as shown in the listing, and the air conditioning was not working properly. When I raised these issues, I was told the booked room was under renovations and was then asked to leave. Based on that conversation, I booked another hotel after being told I would be refunded. I did receive a refund for February 3 to 7. However, the February 7 to 14 portion of the reservation was not refunded. The experience was stressful, inconsistent, and handled poorly. I do NOT recommend this property based on how the situation was managed.

My new favourite spot! If you're on a low budget, you probably cannot find a better place to stay! The place is clean and comfortable being air‐conditioned and you have a good kitchen available. Buccoo beach is just 3 minutes away by car and there's a convenient store 3-5 minutes walking distance. The airport and ferry port are both about 15 minutes away. The host/owner was hospitable and quite warm.

Nothing fishy about this catch of a room

Very simple rooms but just what we needed - clean, comfortable beds and powerful shower and the shared lounge and kitchen was a big bonus too. Only 5 minutes walking to the water, goat racing and Sunday school action in Buccoo but far enough away that the soul shattering bass doesn't disturb you at night if you don't feel like partying all the way until sunrise

Host is terrible, rude and made me feel unwelcome and unsafe. There was no water bottle, no fresh towels in the bathroom, no shower gel / soap in the toilet, no TV as opposed to images advertised on the website. The room was not serviced. I had to cut short my visit due to the attitude of the host and staff. Please remove this property from Expedia to save others from experiencing something similar.

Bad experience

This was a really disappointing and borderline scam hotel. First after paying in advance and full online I received an email from the property stating that I had to pay a 50% deposit and giving me the name of a bank and telephone number to call. I asked hotels.com to clear it up. Then when I got there I was told that check out is at 10 am. My flight unfortunately was at 8 pm. Moreover in addition to there being zero flexibility on late checkout they also refused to allow me to keep my luggage at the property. The only solution was for me to pay for another night so that I could keep my luggage there. Oh, also, the AC didn’t work. The refrigerator was dripping puddles all over the room. And there were other ways in which the service was awful.At the end I was happy to leave early even if it meant sitting in the airport for hours.

Ungezwungener Urlaub in einem traumhaft schönem La

Wer allein unterwegs ist, selbständig und nicht das strukturierte Leben auch im Urlaub haben möchte, ist bei Brandon im Gasthaus richtig. Hier triffst du verschiedene Reisende, kannst dich austauschen und über Brandon Touren buchen. Bequemer geht es nicht. Außerdem ist der Gastgeber völlig entspannt und cool drauf. Ich weiß nicht mehr, wie oft wir alle im Gasthaus zum Dinner gemeinsam gekocht und gegessen haben. Das ist aus meiner Sicht nicht selbstverständlich. Ich komme gern wieder und werde das Gasthaus weiterempfehlen. Danke Brandon für die schöne Zeit.

Top choice for combining lodging and excursions

My stay at Fish Tobago exceeded my needs. This was my first time in Tobago. Unfortunately I came for a funeral, so it wasn’t the typical trip. I picked Fish Tobago due to cost and relative location to family. Based on reading the description and activities nearby, I anticipated that the area would adjacent to or surrounded by the natural environment. Instead the neighborhood was residential. The upside of being residential is that it’s a good base to walk to food and shops. You can also walk for sea/beach attractions, the main Bucco port and the Sunday School party. The ability to go on tours/excursions complimentary for being guest is an terrific value add. I only had time to go on one excursion, but if a guest caught a couple tours, the independent value of the tours significantly offsets the cost of lodging. If you are planning on tours anyway, look to coordinate the availability of Fish Tobago tours and stay in a Fish Tobago property. You can’t beat the combined value. Overall, it was a great value for what I needed and I’m very satisfied with my stay. Thanks to Brandon and the staff
