Arrived but there was no one to check in workmen provided a mobile
Number for owners called no answer tried several times so came back a few hours later. When we did I believe it was the owner who showed us our room although he neither asked our names or gave his. The room was up three flight of stairs an attic room only room for families, not ideal at all with small children. The room itself was in a poor state kept bumping our heads on ceiling, window didnt open so was very humid at night, no hot water although there wad jettke but don't know what for as there was no tea, coffee or cups in room. The shower and toilet were squeezed in a cupboard, no loo roll however was provided alongside clean towels when asked. Also an iron and ironing board were provided. Breakfast was ok, although took 45 minutes to make! No parking at all! We had to park ar another hotel's car park and pay £12 per day. I know the hotel only 2* but the service could still be improved. Overall I would definitely pay extra to stay in a 3* or 4*.
