Said they would get it cleaned but at 8pm offered us a room in another hotel

Serious safety issue – not suitable for families
We stayed at Boho Breeze in Brighton with my young daughter. During our stay, she slipped in the shower and fell against a sharp exposedmetal edge on the shower frame. This caused a painful injury and bleeding, and we had to seek hospital treatment.
This should never happen in a family hotel. The bathroom is unsafe, especially for children. I would not recommend this property to families until the shower design is changed and made safe.

The property needs improvement:
Toilet seat loose ,broken !
Shower head has been mended with some plastic material to avoid leaking (did not work)
TV not working ,pillows we’re disgusting very dirty ,communication not so great .
We were told that check in started at 4pm but when we got there at 04:30 pm the flat was still occupied,not good enough we’ve travelled all the way from London .
Floor carpets very uneven and dirty looking !
Not staying there ever again and will not recommend to anyone!

We booked this for Sunday 24th August 2025 and we were in Brighton.
The check in process is ran by an AI bot and they took check in fees of £4.97 each from us telling us we would receive the codes to check in at 4pm.
We never received the codes and it was a nightmare trying to contact them and difficult to find any real contact information that wasn't powered by AI.
When my partner finally got a return call around an hour later (nearly 5pm) we were told that they would have to check the position with the manager. My partner then received a text confirming our booking was cancelled.
We still have not received a refund of the check in fees and frankly it feels like a scam.

We had high hopes when we booked this place. However before even arriving it became clear it was not going to be pleasant. The “hotel” first contacted me via WhatsApp without my permission or notice that I would be contacted that way. They just completely unsolicited without even identifying who they were messaged me on WhatsApp asking for photos of mine and my fellow guests’ identification. They then also told me I had to pay additional fees on top of what I paid through Expedia and sent me a link to do so. When I did not immediately respond to their messages, I received a call from this same number again through WhatsApp. I answered and let them know I was in the subway and might lose service. They began talking at me telling me the same thing I had already received the messages regarding and when I didn’t respond fast enough the person on the phone said “I guess you don’t want to talk to me” and then hung up on me.
I could get past all of that if when we arrived, the room was nice. First of all, it was walk up only. They listed it as accessible and it was 1000% not. We had to lug our suitcases up 5, very narrow and steep flights of stairs to get to our room on the fourth floor. The room was tiny.
